A child’s brain revisited
Posted by evening dreamer under Brain , Child Development , ChildrenNo Comments
I went out today to do a few errands and out of nowhere, I pass a young girl who attaches herself to me. Now, in this day in age, that’s a scary thing, since people are quick to point fingers and accues (unfortunately). Luckily, nothing bad happened.
She just looked up at me with these big, soulful brown eyes and smiled a smile of pure innocense and friendliness. I smiled back and said hello, she giggled, and then ran back to her mom, who was just two people away from me.
After that, the girl stayed by her mom, and when people passed by, she clung to her mom’s leg. Every so often, she would turn around, peek over at me, and grin again. It was the cutest thing.
I noticed that after practicing Dahn Yoga, I became more pure. Children always liked me, but its as if I communicate better with them now on a wordless level. This just highlighted that. Its interesting how children can see purity and respond to it.
