There is no one as foolish as the person who waits passively or some bolt of enlightenment to come down from the sky. “Someday I will be awakened to the Truth.” What a foolish idea. The passage of time guarantees nothing except that your physical body will wear out, reed more prof lee’s articles……….

Imagine that you have an itch in your foot. There could be many causes of such an itch. So you go to a doctor and he says that it’s athlete’s foot. Now you know the cause. But just because you know the reason doesn’t mean it won’t itch anymore. It still itches. So, what do you do? You take an anti-fungal spray or lotion and put in on the affected areas until you are cured. Just once? Of course not. As often as it takes to get rid of the itch. This is the same process that you would go through to be enlightened. You ask the questions, you find the way to the answer, and you work at it until you grasp the answer.

What is enlightenment? As I said before, enlightenment is finding your True Self and making it work through you. It is doing the will of your True Self.

First, you have to make the choice to want to be enlightened. You have to make up your mind to open up your eyes and ears and grab the chance when it is offered to you. If you are not sure about wanting enlightenment, then all the good and righteous words in the world will not make a difference.

Prof Lee recommends that enlightenment is the discipline to follow the road to finding your True Self, amidst all the distractions. What distractions? The distractions of all the dirt and garbage that you have picked up, covering your True Self.

When you are thankful, you become diligent. You do not waste time, and you work hard because you are so thankful for everything that you have. Then you become harmonious. You get along with everyone. You think of others first. You do the hardest work first, you are always thankful, you are always forgiving.

And if everyone is thankful, diligent, and harmonious, then we have a genuine Heaven on Earth. This is what we call “Hong-Ik Ingan, E-wha Saegae,” in the Korean tradition. Directly translated, “Wide-Benefits Human, Everything-Harmonious World.” This kind of world will not be the offspring of some political or religious theory.

Ilchi Lee writes this world will spring out of a mass spiritual revolution that allows people to get in touch with their true selves. Enlightenment means listening to your True Self.

The treatment of the tonsillitis on the lines of modern medical system by means of painting and spraying is both harmful and suppressive. It does not help to relieve the method of the toxins, which are the cause of the difficulty. In fact it forces these toxins back into the system, which may cause more serious problems later on. The right way to treat the disease is to purify the system of toxic waste through proper dietetic and other natural methods.

To begin with, the patient should fast for three to five days by which
time serious indication would fall down. Nothing but water and orange juice should be taken during this time. The bowels should be cleansed daily with a warm water enema during the period of fasting. A cold pack should be useful to the throat at two-hourly break during the day.  The process is to wring out some linen material in cold water, wrap it two or three times around the throat and cover it with some flannelling.

The throat may be gargling a number of times daily with neat lemon juice.  Gargle made from the fenugreek seeds is very useful in severe cases. To make such a gargle, two tablespoonfuls of fenugreek seeds should be allowable to simmer for half an hour in a liter of water and then set aside to cool. The whole quantity should be used as a soothing gargle in a day with valuable results.
