Brain

Here are some words about subject by Ilchi Lee. He says awakening the brain is a matter of expanding consciousness. The seven Chakras of the body are directly related to different areas of the brain. By analogy: if Ki energy is equivalent to electricity, and the Chakras are the switches, then each area of the brain is a light. Just as you turn a light on by activating a switch, you can awaken the parts of the brain by activating the Chakras. If only one Chakra is turned on, then only the part of the brain corresponding to that Chakra will awaken. And in order for a human being to become one with the divine spirituality within, the whole brain must be awakened.
Chakras also have a direct symbiotic relationship with the auto-nomic nervous system.

This is the system that controls the most basic life functions of respiration, circulation, and digestion. The Chakras also have an intimate relationship with the endocrine system. Blockages or imbalances in the energy of the Chakras are reflected in the types and levels of hormones released by the endocrine system.

Those who are branded losers in this competition are doomed to feel fear and despair. In midst of this despair, they lose touch with their True Self, their inherent goodness, and fall into the trap of hate and revenge at what they perceive as those things and people that have made them feel this way. Then they strike out, causing more hate and destruction. This is why seemingly normal kids take out guns and shoot their classmates. This is why there will be an ever-increasing number of rapes, murders, and other hate crimes in the world. Here and there you might see a temporary drop in crime statistics, but it will only be temporary because it is our whole system that is making people into criminals. Acting out their hatred at the same time they search for a modicum of self-worth even in despair, people will try mind-altering drugs, hurt others, and seek to destroy.

Why do people lash out in such ways when they feel like losers? Because their basic needs are not being met. We all have three instinctive needs that ache to be fulfilled: need for safety, need for recognition, and need for control. All human relationships in our current society are impacted by these three driving needs. Read articles by Ilchi Lee.

The great news is that you have infinite power to change and refine your brain. A few decades back, scientists
thought that people could have very little influence over their brains. It was assumed that by the time people reached adulthood their brain connections were permanently and indelibly in place.

In childhood, one might be able to exert some influence over the development of the brain, but for the most part these things were genetically determined. It was thought that the old adage “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks” was literally true.
More recently, scientists have discovered that the opposite is true. There is a quality to the brain called neuroplasticity that allows you, right up to the end of your life, to restructure and adapt your brain according to your needs. You
can learn new things and adapt to new environments, even in extreme old age

The goal of Brain Wave Vibration is to completely quiet the mind so that the latent powers of the brain can come to the forefront. However, this is not so easy for most people, since there are accustomed to constant, habitual chatter in their minds. Instead of vainly trying to shut off your mind, you can concentrate on a single positive thought. Choose something highly empowering that relates to your personal vision. For example, it could be something as simple as, “I am whole. I am one.” Chant this to yourself, either silently or aloud, as a personal mantra while you practice. Through this process, the vibrations of your own voice will add to the overall effect on your brain waves and will strengthen your transformational intent.

I remember one time when I was a young man there was a bridge under which people threw a lot of garbage. The garbage just piled up week after week. People complained about the garbage, but no one ever did anything to change the situation.

So one day, I decided I would do something about the problem. I began to clear the garbage away, one piece at a time. When all the trash had been hauled away, I buried it in a hole that I had dug in the mountains. I then planted pumpkin seeds in the ground covering the trash. Soon, big, beautiful pumpkins were growing there.

This was a huge moment of discovery for me. It came at a moment when I felt truly hopeless about my life. In my early twenties, I had failed the college entrance exams three times. I realized that all I really needed was the opportunity to do something positive for peopel, and that something positive could even come from a pile of trash.

True brain mastery is the ability to see possibility, even where others see only trash. Those pumpkins grew so well precisely because the garbage had been there before; the trash added nutrients to the soil.

For real brain mastery, you must learn to see your life in the same way, realizing that all the difficult, ugly parts of life can become the compost from which grows your own fulfillment. The trick is to keep a positive mind so that all the beautiful possibilities of life can be seen.

Brain Wave Vibration is a rhythmical training method; it begins with moving your body to the beat of music, and from there the sensation expands as you find your body’s natural rhythm. In a sense, you could say you are calibrating your brain to get back in sync with your body.

People use rhythm instinctively to help calm their own brainwaves. When a baby cries or fusses, what does a mother do? She rocks and gently bounces the baby until the baby quiets down. No one had to teach the mother how to do this; she does so very naturally. Children will also rock and bounce themselves on their own to calm themselves, if the parent is not there.

You need only one thing in the world.

It is not money. It is not fame. It is not even food.

All you need in the world is hope.

As long as you have that, you have everything. This is your birthright that you should never lose. If you keep hope, all your other necessities will come soon enough.

“What are you doing?” I asked.

“Can’t you see? I’m studying,” he replied.

“Why are you studying?” I asked.

“A quiz is coming up. I have to get good grades to get into a good college.”

“Why do you want to go to college?”

“To be successful.”

“What are you going to do after becoming successful?”

“Live happily.”

“What is happiness?”

Do you know the answer?

Ilchi Lee says a choice is very important. Everything we have for our circumstances are what we have created based on our choices. To know oneself really clearly and make a right choice based on the awareness, and to take action based on the choice is what the enlightenment is about.

The earth is big, really big. Billions of people, and another billions, trillions of animals, plants and bugs live on the planet. But a human brain is even bigger than the earth. All the problems and issues of the earth are made by the brain. And that’s why all answers can be found in the brain too.

Ilchi Lee says that his vision and dream is to help 100 million people awakened to the potential of their brain’s performance. Only with the right information of the brain and effective utilization, can humanity overcome all the issues and problems of the earth that all the inhabitants of the planet are sharing right now.

That’s why Brain Wave Vibration is so important. Through Brain Wave Vibration, we can adjust our brain wave to normal and pure. When we have innocent and pure brain wave, we will have childlike pure heart and mind. I want to disseminate Brain Education and the importance of well management of one’s brain.

Ilchi Lee on Imagination
From a translation of Ilchi Lee’s book The Power of the BrainOur imaginings seem random, without any specific characteristics and without limit, but, in fact, that is not the way it works. Imagination is as unique as an individual’s own character and as the reality that individual experiences.
