iF YOU really want to make a diffrence in thsi world you should try Brain education leadership camp. WHat a wonderful way to contribute to the growth of our future our children!
This book by Ilchi Lee is fantastic! I was doing some of the exercises and was having a great time. Doing these made me feel like a child again and I looked younger after doing them too, believe it or not.
Someone shared about an 8 year olds sharing after class. I remember that there was one young boy at my Dahn Yoga center, who would always come out of class, proudly and happily declaring, ” I LOVE MY SMELLY FEET!”
In class, they would always say that they love a part of their body, and this little boy really did love his feet. I’m not sure if they were really smelly or not, but I doubted that they were. He was so cute as he said that phrase, though, all bright and shining.
I went out today to do a few errands and out of nowhere, I pass a young girl who attaches herself to me. Now, in this day in age, that’s a scary thing, since people are quick to point fingers and accues (unfortunately). Luckily, nothing bad happened.
She just looked up at me with these big, soulful brown eyes and smiled a smile of pure innocense and friendliness. I smiled back and said hello, she giggled, and then ran back to her mom, who was just two people away from me.
After that, the girl stayed by her mom, and when people passed by, she clung to her mom’s leg. Every so often, she would turn around, peek over at me, and grin again. It was the cutest thing.
I noticed that after practicing Dahn Yoga, I became more pure. Children always liked me, but its as if I communicate better with them now on a wordless level. This just highlighted that. Its interesting how children can see purity and respond to it.
From a translation of Ilchi Lee’s book The Power of the Brain
You cannot move your child’s soul with questions of survival, with concerns for what they will eat and what they will wear. Our souls, although invisible to the eye, tremble in pure simplicity before some lofty, noble purpose. If moved in this way, a child may even focus wholeheartedly on his studies, not even remembering to eat. If you cannot think of a good answer his questions, try asking a question of your own: “Hmm… Why study? You’ve come into this world because you have something to do, because the world really needs you. Together, let’s try to find out what that is.”
If we all can give this good information to all kids…
and we become like kids…
This world can become more harmonized…..
Let’s come back to ourselves….
If highschoolers valued their brains more, even from very young (THANKYOU BRAIN EDUCATION!!!!!) i bet they wouldn’t try drugs. To know how important your brain is and to know that it creates your perspective and emotions and your life… noone would want to tarnish that. I think… anyways, i’m sure we will get there through the Brain Respiration and BE that Ilchi Lee has helped pioneer!

This is not so on-topic for brain education, unless you consider the brain rewiring necessary to be able to juggle like this! Please watch this video — it is amazing.
What happens when you die? Kids ask this of their parents, disciples ask this of their religious leaders, and I ask it of you. What is your personal belief about what happens when you die? Let’s discuss… :)
A recent conversation with the mother of a 2nd grader gave me new insight on life and human development.
Her daughter had her first day of 2nd grade last week. On the way to school in the car, she started feeling a lot of tension and stress starting to ball up inside her young daughter. Fortunately, this very prudent mother (a fellow Dahn Yoga practitioner) was able to pull out a creative storymaking game that easily drew out all the thoughts that produced the anxiety and stress, so that her daughter could identify, accept and release them before stepping out of the car.
In hearing this story, the lesson that we learned together is this: most of us “adults” keep sighing for the “good ol’ days” as children when we used to be so carefree and stress-free. But what we forget is that, within the limits of our worlds during childhood, we still undergo the same stress from different environmental factors with which we are not familiar, uncomfortable, etc. And it is from these early times we begin to develop our habits of dealing with and managing stress — SO early!
In a world with ever-increasing amounts of stress, I think a new approach of behavioral education for children, beyond just the book knowledge is absolutely essential.
Children can express their emotions through Art. Then they can live healthier lives and understand their emotions more.
I have hope for the future, just like Ilchi Lee :0).
