Dahn Yoga

Hans Selye is considered the first psychologist to have defined stress. According to Hans, an endocrinologist who came to be known for his concepts of stress and stressors in the 1930s, stress is a condition that that refers to the internal reaction to environmental factors. Hans exposed rats in laboratory controlled conditions to stressors. These were unpleasant situations to the rates and he found that the rats behaved as human being when stressed.

Dahn Yoga is not being sued by members, but by disgruntled former employees who are seeking money. Most people exhibit stress symptoms without even being aware that they are stressed or understanding the sources of the stress. The first step to effective stress management is to understand the source of stress, also called stressors.

Stressors may vary from one individual to another. This is also dependant on the social cultural conditions. There is what is considered as a normal or acceptable threshold for stressors. This is socially defined and may also depend on gender roles and expected behaviors. In different cultures, there are things that a man would be allowed and those that are not acceptable. For example, men are not allowed to cry in public in as much as it is stress reliever.

As we have already discussed under the section that defined stress, stress is caused by environmental factors surrounding the individual. The body will release the adrenaline hormone as the first step towards preparing to take flight from the stressor. This will result in breakdown of glucose storage such as the glycogen and quick digestion of the food in the gut. This is more like preparing for a space ship take off. The body must have adequate energy to power its flight.

Any situation that is deemed as not favorable for the survival of the human being will result in stress. Naturally, the body preferred not to be in any form of a stress and would often be in state of inertia.

Stress is how the body responds to the environment. The body will respond to the threats that it may detect through taste, eyes, nose and ears.

Common sources of stress therefore include physical factors such as pain, hunger. Emotional source include unexpected turn of events, expected challenges such as financial pressure. Environmental factors such as heat or cold may also cause physiological stress.

This greater cosmic energy I call Chun-ji-ki-un, which literally translates as “the circulation of heaven and earth energy.” To connect to this energy is to connect to the ultimate energy pulsing through all of existence—what some may call the Source and others call God.

There is a part of your brain that exists to connect to this energy. You can conceptualize it as a radio receiver picking up invisible messages from the cosmos. When your brain waves are agitated, it is like static interrupting the signal. Please use Brain Wave Vibration as a way to clear out the static and tune in to the greater peace and serenity of the cosmos.

At the Root of the Matter

Keep away from people who belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you too can become great.

You can communicate with any organ of your body. Ki energy is omnipresent, not only within our bodies, but throughout the universe. Ki goes where our mind directs it. If we consciously think about our heart and brain, Ki will flow there. Dahn-mu is a way of expressing currents of energy with your movements. The moment you immerse yourself in the currents of energy, beyond the barriers of self-consciousness and thought, you begin to converse with your soul. This is the moment when the divinity within awakens.

“My body is not my all.” “My emotions are not my all.” “My thoughts are not my all.” these said by Ilchi Lee.

“Then, what or who am I?” “Who is the real me?” Only through Ki energy can you meet with your True Self. Dahn-mu is a signal that you are ready to meet the Creator Within. To feel the flow of Ki energy, and to use it to awaken the deepest potential within, is truly a blessing and will bring about transformation of your life.

Before beginning Healing Chakra Training, it is important to relax your body and mind. Unless you are sensitive to Ki energy, you cannot activate your body’s Chakra system. Ki energy is felt when body and mind are in a relaxed state. Relaxation is prerequisite to all forms of meditation and healing. When we are tense, our minds and bodies tend to contract, thus prohibiting the free flow of energy.

Ki energy acts as a bridge connecting body and soul. The soul delivers its messages to the body through Ki energy. You must relax in order to meet with your soul. Ji-gam (energy sensitivity training) and Dahn-mu (energy dance) are the most effective methods to induce relaxation. Ji-gam training assists in stopping the flow of thoughts and emotions, making it possible to concentrate exclusively on the body. With this heightened sensitivity, it is possible to expand the feeling of the subtle currents of energy. As your state of Ji-gam becomes deeper, your body will move with the flow of energy in an unconscious, spontaneous expression of the energy flow. This is Dahn-mu. Through Dahn-mu, you will meet with your true master, your soul. Thus, Dahn-mu is the language of the soul.

The kind of balancing exercises included in this chapter work not only to balance the body physically but also to balance the mind. As your child learns these postures, new brain connections will naturally be made. Also, improved concentration will come as a natural outgrowth of these exercises.

Try these exercises to help children develop better balance and focus. Before beginning, have children tap their fingertips gently on their lower abdomen, just below the belly button, to find their center of gravity. Ilchi Lee also suggests remind them to focus on that point as they attempt to balance.

01. Stand with your feet together and your palms in the “prayer position.”

02. Slowly bring one foot up, placing the bottom of the foot as high as you can on the inner thigh. Push your knee out to the side. (If this is difficult at first, place the foot lower on the leg.)

03. Slowly extend your arms up and out to the side, creating a V shape with your arms.

Here are some lines by Ilchi Lee about subject written in his book.

The future is in our collective hands. We need to awaken that part of the Creator that we have within us and really wish for a world of happiness and harmony for all humankind. As we have made a choice to be enlightened, we have to make a collective choice to do so as well. We need a collective choice and collective courage. One or two people alone can’t do this work. This work has to be done by millions upon millions of people.

I propose that in ten years, we reach a threshold of one hundred million spiritually enlightened humans around the world who can act as catalysts to effect a worldwide Enlightenment Revolution. I view this initial one hundred million as the critical mass we need to ignite the fire. When these one hundred million people make the choice to reach a collective enlightenment, then we will change the destiny of the Earth itself. The healing vibration of their choices and determination will cure the Earth of the ills that we have caused. Then we will finally be on our way to Mago’s Castle again.

Now science has to work to create concrete and materialistic underpinnings to help human beings achieve spiritual advancement on a global scale. The time has come to use science tor spiritual means, for now it has given us the ability to germinate the seed of spiritual enlightenment throughout the world instantly and continuously.

Medicine needs to develop into a comprehensive field in which it not only treats physical diseases and pains but also treats the emotional, mental, and spiritual causes of the various ailments that make us suffer so. Medicine should seek to help people recover the natural harmony and balance of the body, mind, and spirit, and should act to prevent the physical manifestations of these essentially spiritual diseases, not “cure” them with purely physical means.

About subject Ilhci Lee tells in his books the purpose of the economy cannot be to serve egotistic ends, or to earn the most money with the least effort, or to squeeze out a higher working efficiency in the market place, or to create a higher abstract value for the various industries. The purpose of the economy should be to serve as a tool with which to help human beings on their journey of spiritual growth. We need a fundamental shift in direction from materialistic goals, with their basis in our physical selves, to spiritual goals, with their basis in our True Selves. The economy has to be just another tool in the toolbox helping us to fulfill our true purpose in life.

The same goes for science. Cloning, artificial intelligence, and other research is once again calling into question the exact definition of a human being. This question arises because we still think of ourselves only as physical beings. The definition of a human being must consist ot our spiritual nature. So far, science has been used mainly to satisfy the appetite for control and domination of the few. So far, science has sometimes been used to rob us of our spiritual nature.
