I enjoyed a lot too
I was reading through the Dahn Mu Do (the program that Ilchi Lee created) brochure the other day and I was impressed. The content was great, very informative, but the pictures…wow! Everyone looks so strong and they look as if they are having a good time. I’m curious to know what happens even more at Dahn Mu Do School. I want to know more about the drumming!
As you do your training
You meet with innocent you..
and you realize you truly love yourself
and you grain trust in yourself
and your life looks totally new
TRAINING IS GREAT!!!
I just finished the DMD sessionat dahn yoga center. It feels soooo good! I’m very surprise how simple movements can make me grounded in a very short time. I’m greatful to Ilchi Lee who modernized this practice from ancient ages. I’ll keep going!
When I start to learn Dahnmudo, I was really confused how I can curl up my tailborn well. It wasn’t easy at that time.
But now I can feel comfortabel while I make accumulation posture with curl up my tail-born.
Amazing DmD!!!
it creates warmth and power.
Try for only 10min — it makes me hot and centered.
I love Dahnmudo.
I really do love Dahnmudo. It’s such a graceful art. I was always a fan of “watching” martial arts, but never of really taking any action in it. I never thought I was any good. However when it comes to Dahnmudo. It’s really about you and your energy. How connected you really are to yourself and your body. I love how the energy flows throughout the body when doing this art form. It’s so smooth yet so powerful. Watching it, I always fall in awe of how incredibly the masters are always connected to themselves. I try to practice everyday especially when I find myself falling short to stress or if I feel myself getting disconnected. I’m so glad and so grateful that I have this precious tool in my life.
Dahn Qigong is a mind-body training method based on the “Han Philosophy” of ancient Korea. The Han philosophy contains the truth that everything in the universe was created from “One Ki” and also returns to this one place when extinguished, and that everything is connected by that one energy source. It also includes the idea that the universe comprises three intrinsic elements; heaven, earth, and humanity, and that these three do not exist separately from each other.
Our bodies and minds are not separate, either. The mind can be trained by governing the body and the body can be trained by controlling the mind. The role of Chi or Ki is to connect body and mind like a bridge at a point between the two. The Dahn Qigong exercise program is a practice for maximizing the capabilities of the body and mind by accepting and controlling the life force of the infinite universe, Ki, through concentration, Qigong movements, and breathing.
DahnMuDo is an energy-based, non-combative, healing martial art, with roots dating back thousands of years into Korean history. In Korean, “Dahn” means energy. “Mu” means “martial,” or “limitless” and “Do (Tao)” means, “the way,” or, “the ultimate truth.DahnMuDo is therefore also known as “The Art of Being Limitless. Its mind-body training methods combine martial arts movements with universal energy principles to help practitioners circulate blood and energy through the body, and recover the natural balance and rhythm of the body and mind. Its goal lies in training the body and mind to become one.
